Water Truck Drop-On R-Kit Tank

UnitedBuilt R-Kit is a preassembled drop-on water truck tank kit. They include a rear pump deck with a direct mounted hydraulic motor, reservoir, relief valve, and schedule 80 hydraulic lines through the tank. The rear spray valves and side spray valve a pre-plumbed onto the tank. R-Kits are available in a variety of lengths and capacities.

Preparation

Tanks are sandblasted to a specific profile just prior to entering our industrial powder coating booth.

Powder Coat Application

Next tanks are powder coated to a specific mil thickness around the entire tank exterior prior to entering our industrial state of the art oven.

Zinc Primer

All powder coated tanks are first half baked with a Rich Zinc Base Layer to enhance corrosion resistance.

Environmentally Friendly

Compared to solvent-based paint, powder coating does not produce harmful emissions or pollutants. Additionally, it generates less waste in the production process, leading to lower emissions in the finishing line and reduced product waste.

Our dust suppression bars are available in 3" and 4" schedule 40 pipe. Both sizes are 8' wide with holes on 6" centers.

Gravity or Pressurized

Dust suppression bars can be plumbing for gravity feed or pump pressure. Pressurized bars include brass VeeJets.

Air Operated

UnitedBuilt dust suppression bars are air operated with a 2-way butterfly valve and include a cab control switch.

Electric Articulated Joint

The ROJO enables remote operation and control of the nozzle direction. The most common application is for articulated side sprays, but is also available for front flushing application.

Elkhart Brass

The ROJO is manufactured by Elkhart Brass with high torque motor and rated for 250 PSI.

Directional Control

The ROJO has adjustable hard stops that enable operators to set the range of travel from 0° to 310°. Once a hard stop is set, the range of motion can be controlled electronically from the switch controller without the need to manually adjust the direction of flow.

Does UnitedBuilt offer flexibility in water tank length and gallonage?

UnitedBuilt offers a large combination of water tank configurations to accommodate length and gallonage requirements. Standard tank types can range from 1800 to 6000 gallons, and from 10 to 18 feet and longer. Tanks may be built to the classic modified ellipse, or to a modified trapezoid with radius bottom. 16 different gallons-per-foot configurations ensure that UnitedBuilt can meet nearly any water system specification.

Do I have a choice about the type and quantity of valves and spray heads to apply to my water truck?

UnitedBuilt builds a wide variety of spray systems. Your water delivery choices include how many valves, how many spray nozzles, how the nozzles are actuated, whether each spray or each bar is independently controlled, how many controls are on the cab console, whether to use ‘duckbill’ or adjustable type nozzles, and whether to use UnitedBuilt valve and nozzle products or those of a handful of other manufacturers, all in stock. In short, we are positioned to equip you with the water delivery application you need.
